Add or Edit Related Questions

Many questions on WikiAnswers are closely related; you can add links to those related questions in a few simple steps. It is similar to adding Related Links, only in this case, the link is to a related question within WikiAnswers.

Linking related questions is another method for connecting people with the information they seek without duplicating it in multiple places.

To add a related question:

1. When on a question page, click on Edit Related Question under Advanced Tools in the Tools menu.
2. In a separate tab or window, open and copy the URL of the question you want to link to.
3. Paste the URL in the box on the "Related Questions" page.
4. Click on Add Related Question.

To remove a related question:

1. Click on Edit Related Question in Advanced Tools in Tools menu.
2. Click on Remove Link.

Tip:

Use tabbed browsing to your advantage: accessing both questions simultaneously in a tabbed browser makes it easier to copy the URL of the question you want to link. Similarly, you can copy the URL of the related question first, and then paste it into the box for the original question.
