The WikiAnswers Supervisor Mentoring Program matches up experienced site Supervisors (mentors) with newly promoted Supervisors (protégés) in an effort to provide a friendly, fun and worthwhile learning experience. Mentors provide solid support and guidance, garnered from their own hands-on experiences working as Supervisors within the WikiAnswers community.
Getting Started
If you are a new Supervisor, you can:
- Choose a mentor from among our volunteer Supervisors. Look for someone who is active in the area(s) you have chosen to supervise or who shares similar interests.
- Contact us at WikiAnswers @ Answers.com (remove spaces) for a mentor recommendation.
Although it is not a requirement, teaming up with a mentor is a great way to learn the ins and outs of Supervising and receive help when you need it.
Becoming a Mentor
If you would like to be a Supervisor Mentor, you can:
- Volunteer! Contact us at WikiAnswers @ Answers.com (remove spaces) to be added to our list of available mentors. Be sure to include the topics that you are currently supervising or co-supervising.
Our Mentoring Program was inspired by An8thg, a dedicated WikiAnswers Supervisor.
