Flag for Improvement

Flag for Improvement is used when a question has already been answered but needs more detail or to be edited for errors and vandalism, etc.

To Flag a Question for Improvement:

1. Click on Flag for Improvement under Question Tools in the Tools menu. A box will appear.
2. Check the boxes that cover the areas in which the answer needs improvement and use the comment box to supply additional information including the specific improvements needed.
3. Click Save.

The question is now flagged for improvement and will be listed with others that have been Flagged for Improvement.

To edit a question that has been "Flagged for Improvement":

1. Click on Flagged for Improvement under Site Tools in the Tools menu. The full list of questions that have been flagged for improvement will open.
2. Click on the question you would like to work on.
3. Click on Edit Flags beside the orange message and a small popup will appear.
4. Read what that answer needs and click Cancel.
5. Click on Edit Answer in the sidebar and make your edits.
6. Click on Post this Answer. You will be returned to the main question page.
7. Click on Edit Flags. Uncheck the boxes and remove any comments.
8. Click on Save.
