Flag for Improvement is used when a question has already been answered but needs more detail or to be edited for errors and vandalism, etc.
To Flag a Question for Improvement:
- Click on Flag for Improvement under Question Tools in the Tools menu. A box will appear.
- Check the boxes that cover the areas in which the answer needs improvement and use the comment box to supply additional information including the specific improvements needed.
- Click Save.
The question is now flagged for improvement and will be listed with others that have been Flagged for Improvement.
To edit a question that has been "Flagged for Improvement":
- Click on Flagged for Improvement under Site Tools in the Tools menu. The full list of questions that have been flagged for improvement will open.
- Click on the question you would like to work on.
- Click on Edit Flags beside the orange message and a small popup will appear.
- Read what that answer needs and click Cancel.
- Click on Edit Answer in the sidebar and make your edits.
- Click on Post this Answer. You will be returned to the main question page.
- Click on Edit Flags. Uncheck the boxes and remove any comments.
- Click on Save.
