As long as your mother is considered of sound mind, there isn't much you can do about this. Your mother has signed a contract with your sister and thus, it's between them. A hard pill to swallow I know.

If your mother becomes unable to live on her own and your sister moves in what legal right does your sister have to spend your mother's money to supposedly provide for her even if she is not designate? Can your sister obtain power of aattornet although your mother has had some form of dementia since she has been in her care?
