What Can You Do When Your Girlfriend Left Because You Were Abusive & You Love Her & Want Her Back?

  • The fact you have admitted you were abusive is a big step, but you will have to face your ghosts head on. Abuse is learned either in the environment the person grew up in; having too many stresses throughout their life in society and possibly work related; uncontrollable anger or rage, so you will need professional counseling. Unless you agree to this and actually put 100% into getting well you won't stand a chance of getting your girlfriend back. If she knows you are seeing a counselor for your problems she may wait (don't expect her to come back right away because you have broken that bond of trust she had in you) and take one step at a time. Whether you end up with your ex girlfriend or not you will never have a happy and successful relationship with any partner unless you seek counseling.
