You hooked up an Alpine CD to 1997 Sebring JXI using the aftermarket wiring harness No sound although receiver comes on Does the oem amp need to be tied into the system?

[Edit]
There is 2 blue wires one is for the factory amp you need to have it hooked up to the remote on your Head unit or it will not turn on i had the same problem also do not hook it up to the power ant on your deck or you will only get sound when listening to the radio not the cd
