Hello -

The Plan B pill should be taken within the set time frame to prevent a egg from being released and causing conception to take place. So yes she needs to take the 2nd pill as prescribed and this should protect her from pregnancy. But there is always a chance of pregnancy still occuring. Best thing to do is wear protection at all times. Taking the Plan B pill regularaly will cause reproductive problems for your girlfriend as it isnt meant for a regular birth control pill. Use condoms or birth control. Take care.
