Answer

ACURA/HONDA/TOYOTA/BMW/CADILLAC/LEXUS or who ever NEVER WANTS TO TAKE THE BLAME FOR ANYTHING EVEN IT IS THERE DUMB @$$ FAULTs.

as this would mess up there reputation dramatically. but this doesnt not means they have rights to void a customers COMPLAINTs or COMMENTs. as most dealers do. they will not admit they did any work wrong, and next time you come back theyll tell you that its something else that is wrong. thats just how there company train there employee's to act.

if something off your car is 60%+ OLD. but still use-able those dumb idiots would tell your to replace it even though you will be fine for another 10-15,000 miles.

i must say. i like the dealers service and the fact they know what the heck there doing. but sides that if you can get your car serviced at a well known mechanic then i suggest you take it there.

DEALERSHIP only likes you if your comming in to a buy a NEW CAR. they dont even respect a used car buyer as much. sad to say`

i went to my ACURA dealer asking for 2 TROUBLE codes my ODB=2 reader pulled out, after that the manager told me " i recommend you do a power steering flush and air filter replaced " but the idiot didnt know .. i FLUSHED MY POWER STEERING not even 2 weeks ago. and the air filter is a brand new K&N filter.

i told the manager.. " i just had those both replaced, what are you trying to tell me " then the manager just said " oh i'm sorry i didnt noticed" ?

this bastard wanted me to do a power steering flush + replace my air filter when the guy doesnt even have a damn clue on what the hell he is saying. (or maybe he was just trying to play me as an idiot, that i dont know)

like i said. try to stay away from the dealership. unless you had major damage or a severe problem. if you need tune ups, or whatever just take it to a well known service center.

as i paid 60$ for a full service tune up, instead of paying the dealers $$$400.00+ some odd dollars.
