No, there's a good reason it's called the 'morning-after' pill.

Answer

You must take it within 72 hours of having unprotected sex to avoid pregnancy. If you did not take it within this time you may already be pregnant which means the morning after pill can not work as it is used to stop you from getting pregnant not for abortion.
