Would Bill Russell be big enough to play Center in the modern NBA?In: Basketball |
[Edit] |
Answer
What do you think? Was he big enough to compete against the likes of
Walt Bellamy, Nate Thurmond, Wes Unseld, Wayne Embry, Willis Reed
and oh yeah, I almost forgot, some fellow by the name of Wilton Norman
Chamberlain?
I'd like to think The Great Man would be able to hold his own against
the great Adonal Foyle, Kwame Brown, Tyson Chandler, "Not so steady,
Eddie Curry", etc.
Would Jim Brown be able to gain any yardage in today's NFL?
Would Willie Mays make it on a major league team today?
Would Bobby Orr be able to score a goal in today's NHL?
Would Dorothy Dandridge still be beautiful in today's Hollywood?
Would Jackson Pollock be able to make a living in today's Art world?
Would the original Temptations still be "tempting"?
Would Bill Russell be big enough to play in the NBA today?
Hell yeah!
Would he dominate the game as much as he did during the sixties?
No. Why? Because Mr. Russell is 73 years old.
