Yes, my daughter had recently given her boyfriend permission to drive her car. He had an expired lerners permit. He had also hit and run and the tags were traced by the person who had been hit. Our insurance company paid for her car and the other parties vehicle. I'm sure that it will be made up in the renewal of our policy. Hope this helps.
