Will a no seat belt ticket go on your driving record in California? |
[Edit] |
Answer
If it's your first offense, I highly doubt it since it is more a civil penalty than anything else really.
If it becomes a habit which you are stopped for and cited repedatly then yes eventually it will most likely appear on your driving record.
Answer
From the California Motor Vehicle Code: Violation Point Count: Exception
12810.2. Notwithstanding subdivision(e) of Section 12810, no violation point count shall be given for a conviction of a violation of Section 27315.
Answer
There is no reason to get a seat belt ticket, if you are exempt (www.buckleoff.com).
