Blown fuse or defective brake light switch.

The switches have to be carefully broken apart to repair and then make sure that the contacts and springs are clean and are actually contacting the case contacts when pushed out.They are plastic pieces of crap and be careful when popping them apart.You have to pay a lot for them.
