Why will your 1990 Mazda 626 LX not start even though it has spark and compression?

[Edit]

Answer

It could also be that its not getting fuel....I had this same problem. The first thing I'd check is the fuel pump relay. if thats good check the fuses in the fuse box located beside the battery. if they all test good, take 15 minutes and take off the box and look under the fuses. With mine, the connection for the fuel system had gotten corroded and had fallen off so from the top the fuse itself tested good, but it was like it wasnt even in. if all the wires are connected, then take off the fuel rail and attempt to turn the car over. if no gas squirts out of the fuel injectors, then either the injectors are bad (highly unlikely ALL are bad) or u have a bad fuel pump. If it does squirt out fuel, then your timing belt could have been knocked a couple of cogs off, thus you would have compression, but it wouldnt beable to start.
