Because they are superstitious, and expect bad things to happen, and therefore either subconsciously cause bad things to happen, or only remember the bad things that happen to them.

I dont think its the moon alone. There are alot of other factors in the constellations that determine fate. Get a book on Geminis and it can help you to do things that will protect you and stave off bad luck. Gemini's already have the split personality thing going on and that never leaves them settled in one skin.
