Why do we say ''toast'' when with friends at a table? |
[Edit] |
[Edit]
The Phoenicians are credited with being one of the original toasters. pouring out the first portion of wine as a tribute to the gods asking for their good will. today a toast still does the same thing in issuing good will to a particular cause person event or each other. One difference is we don't waste any wine. unless we just won a race.
