There are many many reasons you are unable to fall pregnant, including it being the fault of the male. Here are some situations that occur that stops a woman conceiving. I am assuming that you are ovulating regularly, are in good health, and are having intercourse at the correct time.

1. Blocked fallopian tubes. If the egg is unable to enter the uterus, it cannot be fertilised. 2. Uterine scarring. The fertilised egg finds it hard to attach to the wall due to scarring on the uterus. 3. Genetic mis-match. Some couples find that their genes do not go together, so they miscarry early in each pregnancy, which just looks like a late period. 4. Hormone levels. Once the egg is fertilised, if your hormones do not do what they need to, you will not implant.

5. Sperm mobility. Some men have a good sperm count, but the sperm are disformed and cannot swim straight. 6. Sperm count. It will take a man with a lower sperm count longer to impregnate a woman (on average).

7. There are also cases where the woman's egg rejects the man's sperm, which means that the egg is never fertilised.

You should see a doctor after 2 years of trying. A fertility specialist can start conducting a few simple tests which will tell if any of the above relate to you. Then there are a couple of procedures that can happen if all tests are clear.

Don't give up. Friends of mine tried naturally for four years, then consulted two fertility specialists until finally after five years they were told that their only chance was IVF. 10 days later they found out they were pregnant!
