We don't hate them, we just don't find them attractive. It is in a woman's biology that she must find a mate who will take care of them and her babies. If a girl is say, my height (5'10"), she is definitely not going to think that a man who is even and inch shorter than her will be able to protect her and her babies from predators. (She could very well do that herself for that matter) Although we do not live in a world where we are in constant danger from predators and such, it is still written in our Biology to find a mate that is bigger and stronger than we are to protect us. Women are weaker more often than men such as when pregnant and a pregnant woman can't very well fight for herself without risking her life and the life of her baby. Her mate is supposed to do the protecting because if he dies.. the mother and child may still have a shot at survival, but if the mother dies, the baby dies as well since the father cannot breast feed. OF course with all the technology now this scenario seems irrelevant. I'm rambling. Even if we are talking about one night stands and not marriage, unfortunately, nature wins.
