Why did buffalos die out? |
[Edit] |
because people killed them
Buffa;lo died out because the settlers came and went on their habittats. The sattlers killed the buffalo for meat , bones , skin . The buffalo didn't die out only because the setlers killed them but also because their animals had very bad diseases that were fatal to the buffalo.
Thankfully, they didn't quite die out, and their numbers are increasing. They were delibrately slaughtered to deprive the native Americans of food. Most were left to rot. It's a sad and ugly part of America's history.
