Who do you think in the most friendly or the most helpful among the candidates?

It is pretty safe to assume that the majority of the presidential candidate are neither friendly or helpful when out of view of the public or cameras. The type of ego that pursues the presidency over the last 50 years is not what would be considered normal or healthy when examined closely. Presidential candidates are mostly interested in those people who contribute the most money to their campaign. Unfortunatley for you and me (unless you are a CEO of a major pharmaceutical or insurance corporation) we don't fall into those categories. It is important to remember that when a candidate acts friendly or helpful - they are doing just that - ACTING? Why do you think so many actors have been recruited into politics? Until average Americans get off the couch and become involved in the types of activities that get the attention of those in government we can expect more of the same. A lame, outdated, two-party system that is long past functional for anybody except the lobbyists and PACS. Bottom line, if the person is a candidate they are only acting a certain way to get our votes so they can get into office and steal as much power and money as possible. The person who hijacked the presidency in 2000 and '04 is a great excample of the insincere candidate who will say anything to get in office. Once in office they are only interested in doing that which serves the big money interests. In the US we have the best government money can buy. Sad but true.

Presidential candidate only appear friendly and helful. Haven't you learned anything from George Bush and Dick Cheney? They are only helpful and friendly with big money contributors to their campaign - and that leaves us out of the loop. The only possibility of a real person being elected is John Edwards. His answers are actually very direct and he seems unafraid to tell it like it is. Unfortunately, thanks to the privately owned media in this country you are not likley to see or hear John Edwards as you are those who are most likley to keep the status quo. That is why their images are flashed in our faces so much. Those who get less coverage probably have more to offer but since most Americans are only intersted in what they see on TV or read in the paper, things are likely to keep repeating themselves, and getting much worse. This president lied about 9/11, got us into war based on a lie and is subsidizing big oil, the global bankers and the insurance and pharmaceutical corporations. He even stole both elections. So long as we keep sitting on our asses, too lazy to take a good look at the situation as it, instead of how it appears in the media we will continue to elect friendly looking and seemingly helpful men who screw us once they are in office.
