Chris Whitten is the founder of WikiAnswers.

This site was started in 2002 as FAQ Farm. In late 2004 it converted to a "wiki" system based on the MediaWiki software created by the good people behind Wikipedia. In November 2006 it became part of Answers.com. In January 2007, FAQ Farm became WikiAnswers and is being integrated into the resources of Answers.com to create a complete answer resource.

You can read all about it under the "About" section (in the footer on the bottom of every page).
