locate the TOP radiator hose and follow it to the engine block. it will be at the end of that line and have electrical wire going to it. probably 2 bolts to remove and the housing will pull off. Viola, theres ya thermostat.

It also depends on which year and model, like 93 GS300 the thermostat is located on the side engine block follow it to the BOTTOM radiator hose. It has only two bolts to remove.
