ok buddy , i am talking about 1993 mazda mx6 4 cyl. when you look down you can see the one side of the alternator . put your hand on the back side which you can't see you will find a mounting bolt .you will feel it with your hand . that needs to be loosened first before you can loosen that the long tension bar . good luck , i just replaced the drive belts today ...ouff
