Answer
I myself have a 2006 KIA Sedona. I use to have a 2005 but the dealer here in Fort Myers, Florida dropped it of their lift for its second oil change. It is sad to say that the dealership was too arrogant even though they were negligent. I have to drive 2 hours away to get the 06.
To answer your question, the new Kia Sedona 2006 is now using a "cartidge type" oil filter (Part # 26320 3C100). It is located on top of the engine. You need to remove 4 10mm bolts on the fancy engine cover. It you look right on top of this cover, near the battery, you will see an engraving on the cover "OIL FILTER" This design is similar to diesel engines. Pay extra attention to the 2 O-rings that needs to sit properly on its flange.
GOOD LUCK!!!
