Its a black cylindrical shaped can mounted vertically in a bracket, with a pipe on either end. You should be able to see it using a torch and looking below athe airfilter box and towards the back of the engine bay.

Trace the line from the tank to the engine and it is about under the seats in the frame rail under the car .

The fuel filter is attached to a bracket located in the left rear of the engine compartment. Look down in the space between the master cylinder fluid reservoir and the rear of the air filter compartment, you will be looking at the top of the fuel filter cannister. It's very hard to get at.
