Where is the fuel filter located on a 1997 Chrysler Sebring LXI 2.5L V6?

The fuel filter is located above the rear of the fuel tank. You will need to drop the fuel tank down about 10 to 12 inches, as the fuel lines allow, and disconnect the three fuel lines. There is one that is connected to the fuel filter and two connected to the fuel module (pump). Be sure the fuel tank is almost empty before you try to lower it.
