Insurance Problems
Here are opinions from FAQ Farmers:
- Call your insurance agent immediately. These are they guys that work on your behalf and should be keeping up to speed on errors and changes to your various policies. Also, each state has a department of insurance where you can file a complaint. If you are a member of AARP, it might not hurt to contact them, too. At the very least, the insurance company might be in for some negative publicity.
- Seek advice from a qualified attorney. If the person involved is not familiar with the procedure for obtaining legal counsel, they can contact the State Bar Association for a referral list of attorneys who specialize in Breach of Contract cases. Depending on the merits of the claim, the case would probably be handled on a contingency basis.
