What is the maximum legal size knife in Texas?

[Edit]

The blade can be no longer than 5-1/2 inches, only sharpened on one side, not be operated by a button/lever or by centrifugal force, or designed to be thrown.

Note: this is a perfect example as to why you should never grant police permission to search your vehicle as you may never know that your 8" butcher knife fell out of your picnic basket and it slid under the seat. Of course this is a silly hypothetical but you can see how something perfectly innocent can turn into criminal charges.
