The book of Genesis is a book of beginnings. You can see this because the world was created then, and the genealogies testify to this also.
The book of Genesis is the first book in the Holy Bible. It contains details of the Creation of the earth, universe and everything in it, the fall into sin and the great flood of Noah. It explains the origin of language and of nations as well as the Genesis or beginning of the Jewish nation.
