Girls like to be complimented ... well, actually pretty much everyone likes to be complemented ... anyway, notice something about her; like her hair, her nails, her shoes, whatever, then wait for an appropriate time when you can approach her and say something like: "I couldn't help noticing your nails. they look really hot. Do you do that yourself? Not like I'm looking for lessons or anything ... I just noticed them and, well ... I wanted to tell you that they look really cool." Then try to steer the conversation around to what her interests are so that the next time you see her you'll have something else to talk about.

Whether you want a pick up line or to just get to know her, 'Hi' works best, and after that you just have keep the conversation going. (...'Nice weather, huh?' Is a good follow-up...)
