The repair manual of choice (the only one out there):
MINI Cooper Service Manual: 2002-2004 Including MINI Cooper, MINI Cooper S by Bentley Publishers ISBN: 0-8376-1068-0
Word from the company is that they may not release 05 and 06 specific updates, due to similarities in the model range (02-06). In 2007, there will be a model refresh, and then it's anybodies guess when a new repair manual will come out.

I know that Haynes is working on a manual as well. I think it should be out in late 2005..
