Go to the Springfield Armory Web site and click on the link for their e-mail address. Give them all the info about the 30-40 Krag that you can. They say they will answer in 3/4 wks. Springfield Armory is now a museum and if your gun was made at their company, they have the info you will need. Be sure to give all the facts. The serial no. who bought it, and where, if you know. Also, any strange markings on the weapon. I believe it's best to go back to where it was possibly made.
