I contacted the SPCA/Humane society and asked for help for my cat. Im supposed to make a donation to them later to repay the favor.

I would call the vet and tell them the medication isn't working. It may take longer than four days to work and that's why they aren't getting better yet. The vet may also be able to help you without charge or much of a charge if the medication isn't working.
ANSWER
You may want to consider using alternative medicine. Animals are hard to diagnose since they can't tell us where they hurt. Herbal/holistic medicine has worked much better in my experience than drugs that often give side effects worse than the disease itself!
