Dimethyl Sulfoxide, commonly known as DMSO, is a wonderful natural remedy. It occurs naturally in wood pulp. It is used as part of a Herpes cure at www.neveranoutbreak.com (Which has saved my life, might I add). It is also very effective for softening dry skin.
