Some of the clues..................A child that is fearful of being alone with the offender, who has and uses adult vocabulary about sexual acts or body parts, and has shown signs of regression back to a earlier age, or behavior patterns. They may also be sleeping badly, be doing badly at school and not want to come home, after school, preferring to be alone.

Physical clues are marks, and redness on the body , with unexplained or impossible reasons given for the marks, by the child. In a family with other kids, the one that is being abused may be the oldest, or the youngest, depending on the "target age" that the abuser likes to have sex with. The target may be given more "treats" than the others, or may be the "outcast" who is treated the worst.

Abusers are excellent at being manipulative, and will threaten the target with any thing that will "keep them quiet" such as killing the dog or other siblings. Or they may use "rewards" such as trips or a new bike to achieve the same thing, silence.

i am telling this just because i am a victim of childhood sexual abuse by my father since age 13, and i have not been able to resolve my problems or come to terms with this fact even now at the age of 32. even now, i reach the point of tears and become emotional when i just think of it or write, because i have never had a chance to discuss it openly to anyone, fearing that no one will believe me. i only wish God does justice for me, as i am helpless and hopeless now, having been a childhood victim to my father's manipulations, whims and fancies, and i wish such a thing never happens to anyone again. my prayers for all womankind to be saved from such selfish, dirty-minded people.
