Money from the tourists go back into the conservation of the area.

Can cause an area to become a "honey pot" area. This is where any small, scenic area is over-visited which threatens to ruin the very reasons why it is visited in the first place.

Traffic congestion (pollution, erosion where cars park illegally)

Footpath erosion, soil loss

House prices may also rise in the area.

The main benefits are the protection of a wildlife habitat and the education and on-site contact of visitors on ecological issues.

The main problems are usually related with wrong management of the site i.e. overcrowding constructions, pollution of the habitat, etc.
