The point is seat belts save lives! So, even if a State doesn't have a seat belt law wear them! I've been in 4 car accidents and without my seat belt I bet I wouldn't be here now. It just takes a few uses of seat belts to get use to them and the more you use them the more comfy you feel. I live in Canada where seat belts are mandatory (heavy fines if you're caught without them) and I realize it's for the safety of any passengers or myself, so why fight it. Now when we drive one feels naked if they haven't 'buckled up.'

Think of this. Would you put your baby laying down in the back seat of your car? Hopefully not. They have baby car seats and for good reason so why should YOU be any different.
