1 in a million. whoever said the odds are pretty good dont know too much about basketball. I played high school basketball and have seen so many great players that don't even come close. That is pretty harsh considering i went to lincoln high school in brooklyn.

There is a very very small chance. There are so many things you need to even get to play at a division 1 college. so the chances are very small.

THE MOST RECENT HIGHSCHOOL PLAYER IN THE NBA IS MARTELL WEBSTER FOR THE PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS...THE MOST SUCCESSFULL IS EITHER KOBE BRYANT OR KEVIN GARNETT
Answer
The odds of making it to the NBA depends on your determination. How much hours you practice and how hard you play whether it be the real thing or just practice. kobe ryant once said, "The guy said NBA players are one in a million, ... I said, 'Man, look, I'm going to be that one in a million.'". It's all in you, whether you want it or not, just have fun at the process.
