What are the negative aspects of buying a new left over 2003 model car now in 2005?

[Edit]

Answer

I don't know what mechanical issues you might encounter, but financially you want to look at a few things.

Compare the price you are going to pay for this car to the same retail price of this model used. Any pricing guide will allow you to add to the value for the low mileage. I would not overpay for the car just because it is "new". As soon as you drive it off the lot, it will be a used 2003 with low miles.

The other question is why does a dealer still have a 2003 new car? Is it a speciality vehicle or just a regular car? If the dealer hasn't been able to sell this car in two years, they need new salespeople.
