To graduate from Texas A&M in 1985, I had to take:
The real basics like composition, history, and government fundamentals required to get an engineering degree like calculus, physics, chemistry, engineering graphics, engineering mechanics, thermodynamics, and electrical circuits, plus some extra math and science
introduction to aeronautics two semesters each of aerodynamics, structures, controls, and propulsion, one semester of mechanics of materials, numerical methods, a senior design cours/project, plus a seminar course and probably a lot more stuff that I've already forgotten.
