Was the the morning-after pill effective if you took it after having sex with a broken condom on the last day of your period and your doctor prescribed anti-biotics but your period is late? |

Answer
Hi,
Antibitoics can decrease the effectiveness of the Morning After Pill (MAP). But you was on the last day of your period and chances of you conceiving are next to impossible hun. So you do not need to worry about pregnancy. :-)
MAP will delay your period and it can make you miss a complete period and have a normal period the next month. It can also make you experience spotting. Providing you didn't vomit within 24 hours of taking MAP then the pill worked effectively.
