Dont know who told you about that but i know of no such procedure, once battery is installed the car can be driven any way you like. I think the person who told you this is getting confused with a modern type of engine management that actually adjusts itself to your driving style. E.G. If you drive fast the ECU will remap itself and advance the fuel injection and ignition to suit and remember it, on the other hand if you drive like my grandad it will retard everything for fuel economy. When you disconnect the battery then reconnect, it then resets the ECU to standard, and the learning procedure starts all over again. Hope this helps
