Absolutely not its important to pray for everyone, the victims and their family and friends. It is also important to pray for the murderer. They are truly the ones who need the most help. Pray that they see the error of their ways and that their heart will be changed and that whatever evil that moved them to the act be taken away and replaced with understanding love and compassion and that Mercy and forgiveness can grow from it all. It was hate that began the whole mess so more hate will only make it worse for everyone.
A wise man once said.
an eye for an eye and soon the world will be blind, a leg for a leg and no one will be able to walk. Practice compassion and forgiveness instead.
I think it was Ghandi that said something like that.
