Is it possible to be pregnant after taking the morning after pill 17 hours after having sex and then a week and a half later your period comes 3 days early? |
[Edit] |
Answer
If you had your period you aren't pregnant.
Answer
I had sex about a month ago and got my period about a week and a half later just like you. And then a week ago i was supposed to get my period again, but i didnt. so i took a couple pregnancy tests, and the results came out as positive. So it is possible to still be pregnant and get your period. However, u took the moring after pill, so i dont think that u are pregnant. I mean, that is what the pill is made for. But u should take a test asap just to make sure.
Answer
The morning after pill is 89% effective in stoping pregnancy if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex...if it made you bleed that's a good sign but you should take a pregnancy test anyway.

Answer
Hi,
Based on what you said, its unlikely you're pregnant. The MAP can make your period come earlier than usual or later than usual for you. But to be certain your not pregnant, do a pregnancy test in 1-2 weeks time. If you do the test now it wont be accurate as its too soon.
