Is Halifax University licenced by the state of Wyoming? In: College Degrees, Wyoming [Recategorize] |
[Edit] |
Answer
Halifax University States:
"Halifax University has met the requirements under the new Wyoming statue and is currently registered with the State of Wyoming as a post secondary degree granting institution. The degrees issued by Halifax University are valid and legal."
Warning....Warning.....Warning!!!!!
While Halifax University is said to be valid and legal (within the State of Wyoming), there is a more important issue at hand. The institution appears to have no regional accreditation. The official accreditation agency - North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA), makes no mention of this institution. Therefore, other accredited colleges and Universities in addition to many employers across the nation, may not see the degree from this school as bona fide and valid. If you are choosing a college or university, make sure the institution has a regional accreditation.
