If your roof caves in due to the negligence of your insurance company to do a thorough exam of the house do you have any recourse? |

Answer
Everyone has the option to sue, for just about anything. So legally you could try suing the company, but six years is a pretty long time. I would read my homeowners policy really carefully, which you have probably done. To see what my options might be. Or take it to an attorney to look over, most of them offer free consultations. It doesn't seem likely that you would have a valid claim. The company could always claim it was due to other factors, weather, lack of proper maintinence, etc.. Good Luck.
