Abraham Lincoln approached problems of that kind in this way: If you call a cow's tail a leg, then how many legs would a cow have? Answer: Four. Calling a tail a leg doesn't' make it one. On that view, turning a right-handed glove inside out may make it easier to skip onto a left hand, but it is still, in essence, a right-handed glove.
