If you trim not shave pubic hair will it grow back coarser or with more hairs? In: Mens Health [Recategorize] |
[Edit] |
Outside of the possibility of ingrown hairs and itching, it would make no difference.
Answer
Keep it trimmed! ITs sexier when you have trimmed pubic hair.
Answer
Both trimming and shaving do not make hair grow coarser or cause more hair to grow. However as hair grows it wears off to a finer point making it feel thinner and softer. Cutting it in any way removes the thinner part so the remaining hair may feel thicker or coarser. It's not growing any thicker than before it was cut you've just taken off the worn part so it seems that way. That's why stubble feels so rough. If you stop trimming it then it will get worn down and feel the same as if you never cut it. There are no long term effects to hair from shaving or trimming. You can go ahead and experiment all you want and if you don't like it just leave it alone. It will soon return to the exact same as before you cut it.
