How do you move up from a learner's permit to a full driver's license for the first time at age 37?

Call your State Highway Patrol, or Drivers license Exam Station (in the White pages under either State or License) and schedule an appt to take the driving test. In some states you must log 100 hours of accompanied driving. In others you must have completed a course in driving. These offices will answer that.
