How do you learn to drive a dirt bike? |
[Edit] |
Answer
Learn by doing. Get someone who knows how to teach you about the basics, safety, and clutch and gear operation. Find a field somewhere and start riding, as you become more comfortable with the bike and how to operate it you can move on to more challenging terrain. Safety gear is VERY important especially when learning, expect to fall off or crash at least once. Wear padded gloves, forearm guards, chest and collar bone pad ( collar bone breaks are the most common motorcycle injury) and riding boots.

I agree with most of the first writer... but I would say "Safety gear is VERY important always from the learning stage to the professional. The guy is also totally correct when he said "learning is doing" that is the key~ the more you do the better you become. I myself don't ride dirt bikes but I have found that logic works best with everything that you first start doing.
